About Barbara Parker, Ph.D., CRC, LCPC
Barbara Parker was a self-starter with aspirations to change the world for people from all walks of life. She consistently gave her time. Treasure and Talent to better the lives of those around her. At the time of her death, Barbara Parker, was the program director and Associate Professor of Maryville University's Rehabilitation Counseling and Services programs.
Barbara Parker Fund
The Barbara Parker fund is designed to assist people with disabilities who have experienced a one-time, unanticipated expense that impacts their ability to obtain or maintain employment. The fund can provide up to $300 to an individual who meets the eligibility criteria. The fund was created in 2011 and MRA Eastern chapter has awarded over $10,000 to individuals over the past 11 years.
